Learn how to “triage” a marriage emergency –

t The emergency room immediate care
 
t The “office hours” appointment
 

Questions we will answer that day: 
· What is a marriage crisis?
 
             How do you evaluate the crisis?
 
· How to determine if danger is involved.
 
· What should be the church's role in a marriage crisis and/or in a dangerous situation?
 
· How involved can a church staff person become in resolving the crisis?
 
· How long should a staff person work with a marriage crisis situation?
 
· What resources are available for counseling or other help that is necessary?
 
· How can a church member, teacher, or friend be alert to crisis or potential crisis situations?
 
            How or when should they intervene if help is not requested?
  
Workshop will include:
 
· Case studies for involvement by participants.
 
· Resource lists of counselors, emergency agencies, and other resources.
 
· Guidance for using Enrich as a diagnostic tool.

· Experienced counselors and other resource professionals.
 
· A quick reference card for steps to take and emergency contact numbers.
